almond joy


I just started a batch of Almond Joy like bars.
Coconut macaroon recipe

5 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tsp almond extract
2 tsp rum extract

Mix and let stand
I used a rolling pin to make a 9 x10 in rectangle
bake at 350 till golden. 15 min or so
I cut it into 1 inch squares with a bread knife
Dipped into tempered dark chocolate
Roasted almonds in the Behmor coffee roaster, dipped them in the chocolate and placed them on top.
